Welcoming the Unexpected King
The sermon reflects on the story of Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, where he rode a donkey and was welcomed by the crowd. However, the crowd's expectations of Jesus as a king were rooted in their own desires for power and success, rather than a true understanding of his mission. The sermon invites listeners to examine their own expectations of Jesus and to welcome him as the unexpected king he is, rather than the king they want him to be.
