We're learning to practice the ways of Jesus, not just learn about them. So we practice a Rule of Life together: a simple trellis of daily, weekly, and seasonal rhythms that keep us connected to God.

How New Culture began.
Why New Culture?
Culture is patterns, customs, and beliefs. Everyone is shaped by culture, and everyone shapes it too. Our mission is to create the culture of Christ and make him known in our circles of influence. No matter your age or story, you belong here.
How did we begin?
In 2018 we started asking a question: what would it look like if Jesus were to show up in this city? A group of ten began gathering in living rooms, and eventually found a place to meet in Liquid Nightclub, downtown. We held weekly worship gatherings there and followed the Spirit's lead.
In Madison as it is in heaven.
From day one our prayer has been to see heaven come to earth. In 2020 we found ourselves meeting in living rooms again. In the fall of 2021, after a lot of family meetings and a lot of prayer, we felt it was time to find a home: a welcoming space where, in a city full of people far from home, there would be a deep sense of belonging.

Now we're committed to empowering believers to create the culture of Christ in their homes, workplaces, and communities. We believe there's an invitation to live set apart and fully devoted to Christ, to live into our identity as children of the King, and to do everything for the glory of Christ and his kingdom.
