On the first Thursday of the month a few of us head to Mound Street Laundromat with Neighborhood House, feed the machines, and cover the wash for whoever comes in. Then we stay. The laundry is the reason to be there, and the conversations are the point.

It is simple on purpose. No experience, no training, nothing to bring but yourself and a couple of hours. Students, families, and first-timers are all welcome, and it's an easy first way to serve alongside us if you have never been to New Culture.

Laundry Love is one of the ordinary, practical ways we try to love our city. If you want to come, just show up. If you'd like someone to look out for you, let us know and we will.
