WHAT IS ALPHA?
Alpha is a casual discussion series that takes place on Sunday mornings, focusing on examining life's big questions, spirituality, and faith through a Christian perspective. The group provides a relaxed and open-minded atmosphere where individuals who may not identify as Christians or are reconsidering their beliefs can participate.
Whether curious, doubtful or simply seeking answers, Alpha welcomes you to bring your questions and explore them in a comfortable setting with like-minded individuals. Come to Launch Morning to see if this group is suitable for you.
HOW DOES ALPHA WORK?

Join us for a free dinner and drinks! It’s something new every week.

During each Alpha evening, we show a 25-minute film that's designed to spark curiosity and encourage questions. These short films delve into the major issues surrounding faith and break down the fundamentals of Christianity, tackling questions such as "Who is Jesus?" and "How can we have faith?"
Rather than simply providing answers, the films aim to prompt deeper thinking and reflection. We believe that everyone's journey is unique, and we hope that these films will inspire you to explore your own beliefs and questions.

Once the film ends, we'll divide into discussion groups where you can share your ideas on faith and life and listen to others in your group. You can express yourself freely – speak up as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. It's entirely up to you.
We want to create a space where everyone feels respected and heard, regardless of their beliefs or experiences. Our discussion groups are a chance to connect with others who are also exploring faith and to learn from one another. We encourage you to come with an open mind and an eagerness to engage in meaningful conversations.

The Alpha group meets on Monday evenings from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in The Living Room (301 S Bedford St, Suite 6 Madison, WI) in downtown Madison. We welcome everyone interested in exploring life's big questions and discussing spirituality in a friendly, nonjudgmental environment.
Whether you're a long-time Christian or simply curious about faith, we invite you to attend our weekly meetings. We hope to foster a welcoming community where individuals can connect and grow in their spiritual journeys. We look forward to seeing you there!

Yes, Alpha is 100% free. We believe that everyone should have access to meaningful discussions about faith and spirituality, regardless of their financial situation. All you have to give is your time.
How do I know if Alpha
is right for me?
The best way to find out is to try it out! Alpha is designed for anyone curious or skeptical about faith and for those who want to connect with others over life's big questions. If you're unsure, we encourage you to attend our Launch Night and see what Alpha is all about. There's no obligation to return if you don't feel it's a good fit for you.
Is there Childcare?
Unfortunately, we do not currently offer childcare during Alpha meetings. However, we welcome children in 6th grade and above to join in on the discussions if they are interested.
